My Next Adventure
In 2015 I founded Get There Foundation. Since then we have given away hundreds of tickets to deserving people in communities across seven states. For the past five years, I have run the day-to-day operations while holding a full-time position in hospitality management, but now I am moving on! I am excited to finally get after some goals that I have put aside and to start building Get There Foundation into a serious player in the sports and entertainment industry.
Here is how you can help:
Until we get to a place where it is safe to send people to live events, Get There Foundation is going to be raising funds for our Youth Sports Sponsorship Program. We will identify teams and young athletes that need assistance with fees and equipment costs, as well as corporate sponsors that could “adopt” a team in need. If you or your business are interested in this program, please reach out to me directly. If you know of a young athlete or youth team that needs assistance, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
We are also seeking companies and individuals that can Donate Tickets. If you know someone that works in sports or entertainment and may be willing to help, please send them my way. If you have season tickets and don’t go to every game, please send them my way. If your company has tickets for clients that rarely get used…you get the point. My email is below and I am excited to hear about the opportunities to do some great things.
Additionally, you are always welcome to make a monetary donation by clicking here. All funds raised for the remainder of the calendar year are going towards our youth sports programs. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to fund the program through the first half of 2021 and allow us to help hundreds of local kids safely resume their athletic programs.
